Old Fashioned Milk Paints are her favorite for glazing walls. Environmentally friendly, the color palette is soft and the sealer is non-yellowing and durable.
The artist will use oil based paints to manipulate the special effects that create many of the fantasy finishes. However, last summer, she took a course at the Isabel O’Neil Studio Workshop learning water-based marble techniques. The quick drying time speeds the process and less time between the layers simplifies the materials used. This technique makes it a greener project for both the artist and the client.
